Sasha Barrese, real name Alexandra Barrese, is a former actress who already for a decade active in the poker world. She is best known for her role as Tracy Billings in The Hangover Trilogy.). Her last movie parts were in 2013 and soon later she became a fulltime poker professional, while she already made her debut in the poker world at the DeepStack Extravaganza in Las Vegas back in 2012.

Hawaii, France, America, and the Film Industry

Born in Hawaii, and grew up with only her mother, she moved to Paris on an early age as her mother worked as a model. They returned to the United States in 1985 and during her school she started up her own model career with modelling brands such as NEXT and Elite. Soon later she rolled into the film industry.

Alongside her mother, she he made her acting debut back in 1989 in the comedy film ‘Horner and Eddy’. After a couple more movies, also starring her mother, in her childhood, she managed to pull of roles in blockbusters such as ‘American Pie’, ‘Hellraiser’ and ‘Legally Blonde’.

Sasha Barrese came in touch with poker games at an early age, where she firstly player a lot of draw poker, backgammon gin and chess. With Russian roots she was raised with such games, so it does not surprise us she made ‘acte de presence’ in the poker industry.

In 2014, PokerListings had already spoken to her shortly and there she had mentioned she wanted to become Poker Pro as well, having the skill games going through all her veins.

Popping off in Poker

As of 2012 we can see results popping up for Sasha Barrese in the live poker circuit. But allegedly she makes her name in the private cash games in Hollywood. She started off becoming 2^nd for $6,023 in the $450 Extravaganza Deep Stack in Las Vegas. She got the taste of it and cashed in numerous of other tournament events during her first few years in the felt. Steady results she has had and soon followed up by her all-time highest cash of $25,372 during the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown in Hollywood where she became 22^nd for $25,372 (Buy-in $3,500).

Every year Sasha tries to attend also at the World Series of Poker, the ‘’Hollywood’’ of poker. Every year until 2019, she made a couple cashes in Las Vegas and up on today she has had a decent $119,945 in career earnings of poker.

Throughout the years she has become a mother from a twin and tries to find her way with poker as her motherhood, supposedly, is quite demanding. As the last couple of years, we do not see much of activity in her poker career.
