Chance Kornuth Biography
Chance Kornuth was born on June 24, 1986 in Denver, Colorado. He attended a Catholic high school, and afterward studied civil engineering. His math teacher pushed hard for an architectural engineering profession, although Chance himself wanted to become a teacher. He enrolled at the University of Colorado at Boulder and dropped out before completing his last semester.
His older brother Adam first introduced Chance Kornuth to the card game. While still in high school, they played poker and used cents instead of chips. Online, they both played from their father’s account.
In 2008, the poker player decided to try his hand at a higher level for the first time and flew to the Bellagio tournament in Las Vegas. He practically doubled his money after that trip and realized then for sure that card game was his life’s work.
Now he lives in Los Angeles, is married and raising two children. He is actively developing his career and constantly participates in online and offline tournaments.

Just a few years later, in 2010, the poker player won his first WSOP PLO bracelet and earned over $500,000! It was an epic game, after which the player’s career went skyrocketing. He would later recall in an interview, “2010 was my happiest poker year. My friends and I rented a whole house to play the longest poker session.
