WSOP Europe Comes to King’s Resort in Rozvadov (Oct. 25 – Nov. 15)

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced its upcoming events for the 2023-24 season, including the WSOP Europe and the WSOP Circuit (WSOP-C) international stops. WSOP Europe will take place at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, from October 25 to November 15, with the Main Event scheduled for November 10. King’s Resort owner, Leon Tsoukernik, expressed excitement about hosting the prestigious tournament series in Europe, promising higher guaranteed prize pools and new exciting events for players. The WSOP-C began its 2023-24 international run in London on July 27 and features eight confirmed stops to date, with more to be announced soon. Winners from these live or online circuit events will earn a spot in the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions” event at the 2024 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, as well as the highly coveted WSOP gold ring.

You could already see it coming of course, with the Main Event of this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event going to a whole different level with more than 10,000 entries. People who wandered around in the Horseshoe and Paris rooms during the WSOP could enjoy the biggest cash game action in an exclusive King’s Room. When being in the room, you could see immediately similarities with the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. With the WSOP Europe of 2022 already being organized in the Poker Temple of Europe, it was easy math to calculate another event in 2023.

WSOP-Circuit Events Announced Its Destinations

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Events are a series of poker tournaments held throughout the United States and the world, starting in late July each year and culminating with the WSOP in Las Vegas. The WSOP U.S. Circuit Events are designed to give recreational and amateur players the opportunity to experience the WSOP at a more affordable price point and with less time commitment. Each stop typically features 12 official events, including a $1,700 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event. Official WSOP Circuit events range in buy-in from $250 to $5,300 and award a prestigious WSOP gold ring to each winner and a spot in the following Tournament of Champions. The WSOP Circuit Events are a regional and international extension of the famous World Series of Poker, dating back 49 years to 1970. Which makes it a big part of the poker history as a whole.
