WPT World Championship: Moorman on the Verge of going Back-to-Back FT

The $10,400 WPT World Championship accumulated an astonishing 2,392 entries, a total of 61 remaining players will return today for the 4th day of the event. Chris Moorman (5th in 2023 for $2,1M) is one of the eye-catchers regarding notable names left in the game. Isaac Baron, another online legend of the game, also returns at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas. Over $3M for first, which guarantees top-notch poker with plenty of fireworks!

WPT World Championship – Day 4

The remaining 61 players have returned to the ballroom, prepared for another exciting day of poker action. The stage is set and beautiful as always, and the chips are ready to be exchanged throughout the day with every remaining player. It’s time to shuffle up and deal!

Play kicks off today in Level 23, with blinds at 40,000/80,000 and a big blind ante of 80,000. The plan is to battle through 90-minute levels until the field narrows down to the final 16 players across two tables.

Chris Moorman knows exactly how it is to play for the 4th day of this event, as he managed to reach the final table during the edition of 2023, where he scooped a nice $2,1M prize money. It doesn’t come as a surprise as he is one of the all-time online heroes. Isaac Baron, another player who played himself to eternal respect by shining at the virtual tables, also comes back with a reasonable stack. Sadly for Baron, he busted out of the tournament in 50th place, good for $75,000. We won’t give you more spoilers, for that you really would have to watch the stream.

Michael Berk, who has over $1M in live tournament cashes, is leading the pack. You can easily conclude that he is on a hot streak in this series as he managed to cash already in three tournaments (ClubWPT Freeroll, WPT Mystery Bounty, and WPT Prime). For Joshua Lisberger this opportunity is one which might just be a big game-changer in his poker career as he just earned €12,336 until this tournament. All remaining players have already pocketed $59,000, and they will be playing for the following top prizes:

2$2,075,000
