Sharing the news from the penultimate day of the World Championship of Online Poker.
Double Win for PLO-Master Gruffudd “d.apollo777” Jones
Gruffudd Jones had an incredibly successful evening.
First, he made a heads-up deal in the $10K World Championship of PLO with Martin “Imbajimbaa” Dam, the champion of the same event at WCOOP 2023.
Then, he secured a clean victory in the $1K PLO Main Event. “Fal1st” finished in fourth place in this tournament.

“Fal1st” Can Be Congratulated for Winning the Overall Leaderboard
Today is the final day of WCOOP, but the Overall Leaderboard results are already taking shape. Here’s the current points distribution:
- “Fal1st” – 2,845 points
- Blaz “Scarmak3r” Zerjav – 2,490 points
- Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielevski – 2,415 points
Zerjav would need a miracle to win, as he would have to win three tournaments in one evening and finish at least fourth in another one. No one has managed to win three tournaments in one night during the entire WCOOP series.
Throughout this series, “Fal1st” has won four tournaments.
