The UKIPT Blackpool Event

UKIPT ran from July 11-16, 2023, at Grosvenor Casino and concluded recently. There were 262 entries in the event, which made a total of £258,990 prize pool. Among the 262 entries, 40 survived the 2nd day to reach £1,710. After the exciting happenings on the second day, only six players make it to the third and final day.

After the third day, Tuan Le of the United Kingdom won first place with a total winning of £53, 630. He even started the day as the chip leader and has consistently added to his stack and emerged as the Main Event winner.

Following Tuan Le is Ali Zia of the United Kingdom with a cash prize of £33,230, followed by Teodor Evstratiev of Bulgaria with a £23,730 take-home prize.

Who is Tuan Le?

Tuan Le is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player. He is a full-time beautician by profession but still finds time to play poker during his free time. Moreover, he plays live poker four to five times a year. The winner is also proud to be a family man and prioritizes his family while finding time to hone his poker skills. He still believes there are many things to improve in his style and strategy, which is when playing in a tournament comes in.

The poker player describes himself as a recreational player and says that with patriarchal responsibilities, he can choose which events he can join. Over the years he has been playing poker, he has learned a lot, improved himself, and earned his way to the top.

What happened on UKIPT Blackpool Final Day?

The Grosvenor Casino has become the talk of the town this week as the UKIPT Blackpool concluded with a bang! With attractive rewards, such as discounts on food and free merchandise, UKIPT has attracted more participants for a bigger prize pool.

Relative to what many of us expected, the Final Day event went quickly. The last six players bravely faced their foes to get their share of the prize pool. The action began with Daniel Jackson being beaten by Ali Zia, landing the former in sixth place. During the next hour, Teodor Evstratiev pushed Beihao Wang down to fifth place. Jacob Mulhern landed next to Evstratiev. It was thought that Zia would lead until Tuan Le had the surprise of their life. It took Tuan Le, an ace-king, to dominate the game and land Zia in second place.
