Top Cash Game Players March 2025

Top Cash Game Players March 2025

Together with StatName, we continue to cover the results of the best cash game players across different stakes and rooms over the past month. As always, we try to find secrets, patterns and unusual observations at every limit, starting from NL10 and up to overall rankings — which really surprised us this time.

But first, as always, some important notes:

  • StatName considers net profit at cash tables. Rakeback, leaderboard rewards, and promotional bonuses are excluded from the statistics.
  • StatName tracks results only at regular cash tables (fast-fold tables are not included).
  • StatName data may differ from your HUD stats due to potential import errors, but the sample size remains representative and provides an accurate player performance overview.

NL/PL10: mr_MP&1 Knows the Simple and Complex Secret of Success

Statname March 2025 NL/PL10

Nothing has changed at NL10. To succeed, you need to grind over 10K hands tirelessly and hope that luck is on your side, blessing you with a double-digit EV bb/100 winrate. That’s the secret to success for mr_MP&1 from PokerStars.

But there’s an interesting character in the top list: take a look at position 11. royalvz played just 2.9K hands PL10 with a triple-digit win rate and still made it into the top rankings. The gods of Omaha were clearly smiling on royalvz.

NL/PL25: 888poker Omaha Grinders Are on Top

If you’re running bad and things just aren’t working out in NLHE, maybe it’s time to switch disciplines and give PLO a try? 5 out of the 15 players in this limit’s rankings are playing Omaha — and three of them are grinding on 888poker.

Topping the leaderboard:

  • basteparix: +$1.9K, 17K hands, 45.8 bb/100 win rate
  • Jerboa133: +$1.6K, 13K hands, 47.6 bb/100 win rate

By the way, you can track an unlimited number of players for free on StatName up to NLH/PLO25.

NL/PL50 and NL/PL100: Sometimes, It’s Not the Time to Make Big Money

Statname March 2025 NL/PL50

This limit brought us one of the biggest disappointments. The top players made around $1.8K — the same as what players in 14th–15th place earned back in February 2025. By the way, last month’s best player at this limit made $4.9K. So maybe sometimes it’s just not the right time to make big money?

The same situation awaited us at the next limit. Borekitas topped the rating with +$2.9K — half as much as the best player of February 2025 had. To be fair, Borekitas also played half as much distance as his colleague.

NL/PL200: Game Changer Limit in March

Statname March 2025 NL/PL200

At NL/PL200, we were in for a pleasant surprise. A player with the nickname pyka 6ora (translated from Russian as “hand of god”) scooped up a massive profit: +$14K. Granted, he put in a huge volume with 59K hands! For comparison, in March 2025, five-figure profits only started showing up at NL1K.

From NL/PL500 to NL/PL2K: Summary

LimitPlayer (Room)ProfitDistanceWinrate, bb/100
NL/PL500d_TRUBAnev (PS)$7.9K9.2K hands17.1
NL/PL1KfireStart333r (iPoker)$26K15K hands15.4
NL/PL2KIIIIIIIIIIIIiii (WPN)$39K5.3K hands37.2

What’s interesting: the ratings are headed by players from different rooms. This only says one thing: every online poker room in 2025 has a game. If you play only one room, maybe it’s time to connect a couple of new ones? Choose from the Best Online Poker Sites 2025 section.

Overall March Rankings Surprised Us a Lot

Sttaname March 2025 Overall

There is nothing special at the top. omahafyrarolls took first place. He was the player who won the first ever $2,650 The Venom PLO tournament on the WPN. CWestmoreland took second place. He is also known as DavyJones922 (PS) and LemonHouse (GG).

But look at #9. WYIYW (PS) is there at NL500. How did he get to the top of the Overall rankings and not to the top of the NL500 rankings? He played most of his hands at NL500 (that’s why it’s his favorite limit), tried to play higher – and it worked out.
