The Pokerlistings Ranking Series in Malta hots up…

With two legs of the Pokerlistings Ranking Series in Malta still to go, there’s plenty to play for. Yes, you read that correctly – on a day-to-day basis we might be committed to cutting a path through the real money online poker jungle to find the best online poker bonuses and offers for our community, but we’re also contributing to Live tournaments by organising Pokerlistings events!  

This particular six-leg series is hosted by the fantastic Portomaso Casino, Malta, which has a deserved reputation as a top poker venue. The same can be said of Malta generally, in fact, and it’s no surprise that this tiny Mediterranean island has proved as popular with poker players as it has with tourists. If you’ve never played live poker and online poker tournaments have been your only competitive experience, then our Rankings Series is a perfect introduction. 

As for the tournament itself, the €150 buy-in event boasts a €5,000 guaranteed prize pool that keeps being decimated. The fourth instalment took place on 26 February, with the 69 entries pushing up the total payouts to a tasty €8,611 – that’s great for the players, adding significant value to enhance the overall experience of poker in the sun.  

And there’s more to play for! The Leaderboard features a €550 seat to the Main Event of The Festival in Malta (15-21 May, 2023) for the overall series winner, and a €250 seat for the PokerListings Deepstack Championships during the same event for the runner-up (yes – that’s yet another Pokerlistings event!). With two more monthly tournaments left to play, anything could happen.
