“The Festival Series” is a new poker & casino series which will have multiple stops in Europe with the inaugural event in Bratislava, from September 20^th until the 26^th. It will be held in the Banco Casino right in the heart of the old town with over 20 different events with buy-ins ranging from €35 up to €1.100.

Poker will be offered in various variants: Hold’em, Pot-Limit-Omaha, Knockout Tournaments, Drawmaha (or also called “Sviten Special”), Open Face Chinese and Heads-Up. The main event will have 4 starting flights with a buy-in of €550 and up to two re-entries. The casino guarantees a prize pool of €300.000. The first starting flight will be on Tuesday, September 21^st, the last one will be a turbo starting flight starting in the evening of Thursday, September 23^rd.

Roulette, Blackjack and Sport Betting Championships

The Festival Series aims to combine poker, casino games and sports betting under one roof and will offer a roulette, blackjack, and sports betting championship as well as a slots tournament for €250 each.

Those events have multiple starting flights, multiple event days and will run alongside the poker events in the evening hours.

Venue

The Festival in Bratislava will be held at the Banco Casino in the heart of Slovakia’s capital. Players can purchase packages that include hotel accommodation at preferential rates in the adjacent Crowne Plaza hotel. The hotel and casino are in the heart of the old town and Bratislava is just under 50 minutes away from the Vienna Airport.

Online Satellites

There are online satellites for both the poker and casino tournaments. The Festival Series have partnered with multiple online poker providers and casinos including Paf, Pokio, Coolbet, Guts and Casinoroom.com. More partners will be announced within the next few weeks.

Players can qualify for the poker main event of the tournament online for as little as 20 euros. The casino also runs live satellites with 5 main event tickets guaranteed for a buy-in of €50 in the weeks running up to the event and for €35 during the first days of the event week.
