The Bounty Hunter Series Returns to GGPoker with $50M up for Grabs

What’s in the Bounty Hunter Series?

Once again, the Bounty Hunter Series will feature a mix of progressive bounty formats and mystery bounty tournaments, meaning it’s already all but set to be one of the most popular recurring events on GGPoker. And once again, it’s going to reward players not just for running deep, but for racking up eliminations along the way — which makes every shove, call, and knockout that much more meaningful.

This edition of the Bounty Hunter Series includes a massive schedule packed with PKO (Progressive Knockout) and Mystery Bounty events. Every tournament comes with a bounty mechanic, but the structure varies — and so does the strategy.

Progressive Knockouts (PKOs)

In PKO tournaments, a portion of each player’s buy-in goes toward a bounty on their head. When you knock someone out, you get half of their bounty as an instant reward, and the other half is added to your own. That means the more players you eliminate, the juicier the bounty on your head becomes — and the more tempting a target you are. It’s a format that rewards aggression and punishes hesitation.

Mystery Bounties

The mystery bounty format ramps up the suspense. Here, the bounty value for each knockout isn’t known in advance — it’s randomly determined from a prize pool. Some knockouts might only score a small return, while others could trigger a huge payout. Every all-in becomes a sweat, and even early bustouts can change someone’s tournament entirely.

Series Highlights

There’s a full calendar of bounty action coming up, but three headline events are already drawing attention:

• $25 Mystery Bounty Mini Main [Day 2] – $2.5M GTD (April 7)
• $5.40 Bounty Hunters Warm-up Final – $750K GTD (April 14)
• $108 Mystery Bounty Main Event [Day 2] – $5M GTD (April 21)

These tournaments have a broad buy-in range between themselves, giving players at all bankroll levels a chance to get involved — and maybe walk away with one of those big bounty sweats.

The $500K Bounty King Leaderboard
