WPT Global: $8,5M GTD Fall Festival

We’ve been hyping and discussing the WPT Global Summer Festival for long enough. So, as the first autumn leaves hit the ground, it’s high time we turned our attention to the WPT Global Fall Festival,

As you may have already heard, the series will run from September 8^th to September 30^th. The main events, better known as Days 2 start:

If players manage to reach Day 2 in all five tournaments above, they’ll not only be extremely skilled but will receive $3,500 in tickets for the next WPT Online series.

Apart from WPT Global’s regular festival programming, the fan-favorite Mystery Bounty format will be making its debut at this year’s Fall Festival. The Sunday Slam tournament trio will be players as Mystery Bounties during the Fall Festival. Additional Mystery Bounties include: 

Players who participate in more than 30 tournaments in this Fall Festival will have a chance to qualify for the $50K Freeroll, taking place on October 6^th. Depending on the number of tournaments played and the total buy-ins, players will receive different starting stacks:

Additional chips can be earned by playing PLO and 5-card PLO cash games at $0.10/$0.20 and higher. For every 100 hands played, you receive 200 chips (maximum 15,000).

Going into the tournament, the goal would obviously be to win. However, players who manage to win at least four WPT Fall events will receive a $12,400 WPT Passport for the live WPT series. If you’re ever so lucky to take down five tournaments during the festival, you’ll also receive an additional $5,000 in tickets; for six wins, WPT Global will add another $5,000.WPT Global also continues to host numerous leaderboards for Global Spins, PLO Cash, NLHE Cash, and MTT.

GGPoker: WSOP Online and $10M GTD Regular Promotions

As you probably know by now, the WSOP Online is in full swing and running through September 30^th. While the tournament has already given out a few bracelets, there’s still something to fight for. Check out the GGPoker website for the remaining WSOP Online bracelet events. 

Apart from the WSOP Online, which is relatively hard to miss, GGPoker is also cooking up some novel September promotions, with the total giveaway for this month still valued at 10 million.

While most monthly promotions remain the same, the Mystery Battle Royale promotion prize pool has increased by $5,000 this month due to a new $25 buy-in being added to the lobby.

*The multiplier is taken into account: x2 for straight and flush, x3 for set and x4 for straight flush. For example, if you put in five buy-ins into Flip Stage A and hit trips or a set, you will receive: 5 buy-in points + bonus points (5×3) = 20 points. The general rules for each leaderboard have remained roughly the same, as you can see:

• The scoring period is from 08:00 UTC to 07:59 UTC the next day.
• Every day from 06:00 to 08:00 UTC “happy hour”: points are multiplied by x1.5.

Global Poker: Bounty Series VI

Just as we predicted in our last article about the operator, Global Poker is becoming a serious contender in online poker. This September, the poker room came out swinging, announcing its Bounty Series VI.

The series is running from September 2^th to 15^th, with 34 GC Bounty Events and 34 SC Bounty Series VI events scheduled for the first week:

• Buy-Ins: GC 11,000, GC 33,000, and GC 99,000 
• Buy-Ins: SC 11, SC 33, and SC 99 

The series has a guaranteed total prize pool of GC 220,000,000, including:

How To Qualify for the GC 200,000,000 Mystery Bounty Freeroll Finale

1. Win any Gold Coin Bounty Series VI event during the first week of Bounty Series VI events — September 2–8 to go straight through to the Freeroll Finale.
2. Make it to a Final Table to get 1 entry to the Final Tablers’ Qualifier on September 11. The top 8 from the Qualifier will then go through to the Freeroll Finale.
3. Play in any of the 34 Gold Coin Bounty Series VI events between September 2–8 and you’ll get 1 entry to play in the Participants’ Qualifiers on September 13. The top 9 players from the Participants’ Qualifier will go through to the Freeroll Finale.
4. Win any of the 3 Freeroll Qualifiers (held on September 9, 10 and 12) and you’ll secure a spot in the Freeroll Finale.

888poker: $500K GTD XL Autumn Mystery Bounty

While we’re all feverishly waiting for 888poker to announce its XL Autumn Series, the Main Event has already been added to the lobby.

As we know so far, Day 2 will start on September 30^th, while the next flights will start on September 5^th and September 8^th. The game continues until 11% of participants remain in the flight. You can qualify in satellites: $0.30 → $11 → $250.

$2,500 Daily BLAST Leaderboards 

Along with teasing players about the XL Autumn Series, 888poker is also still running its regular promotions, one of them being the Blast Leaderboard. To join the leaderboard, all you need to do is click the “Join” button in the leaderboards section. 

After each game, players have the chance to score some points: 2 points for 1^st place, 1 point for 2^nd and 3^rd place. The points are multiplied by the BLAST Multiplier to determine a player’s ranking on the leaderboard.

The total leaderboard prize pool of $2,500 is divided by buy-ins (number of blasts to count and prizes may be changed):

PokerStars: $80M GTD WCOOP 

The biggest online event for PokerStars is just days away. This year, World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) will be running from September 8^th all the way to October 4^th. The guarantee is the same as last year.

This year, the WCOOP schedule includes a total of 379 tournaments (in NLH, PLO, PLO5, PLO8, 6+ Holdem, 2-7 Single Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, 8-Game, HORSE, Badugi, Razz and Stud) with buy-ins going from just $5.50 to $25,000.

As always, there will be a total of 6 Main Events: three Hold’em and three Omaha. All of the main events kick off September 29^th.

As always, the series has added $100K leaderboards for Low, Medium, High, and Overall players.

RedStar Poker: €7.5M GTD Elite Series XL Autumn Edition

Another online operator with a full schedule this September is RedStar Poker. For starters, the Elite Series XL Autumn Edition has been running since September 1^st and will run all the way until October 9^th.

The schedule includes almost 500 tournaments in three categories (Low, Medium and High) with buy-ins from €2 to €500.

To save you the trouble of searching through the schedule, we’ve made a list of the biggest Elite Series XL Autumn Edition tournaments:

Leaderboards have been added to the series for three tournament categories

• Low (buy-ins from €2 to €10): the top-200 are rewarded with tickets from €1 to €1000
• Medium (from €12.5 to €100): for the top-150 are rewarded with tickets from €3 to €250
• High (from €110): top-50 are rewarded with tickets from €10 to 2x€250

Points for the leaderboard are awarded for active play: participation in series tournaments, knockouts, getting into ITM, to the final table or for winning a tournament.

There will also be missions during the series, in which tickets for tournaments and freerolls are awarded:

To participate in missions, you need to register in the missions section. Freerolls will be held on October 10^th.

€12,5K Twister Races

Apart from Elite Series XL Autumn Edition, there are an abundance of other promotions still running on RedStar Poker. Take the fan-favorite Twister Races for instance. To participate in them, you need to register in the client every week by clicking “Opt-in”.

Points are awarded depending on the size of the buy-in for participation and for winning. For example, in a €10 tournament, 10 points are awarded for participation and 10 points for victory, in a €20 tournament, 20 points are awarded for participation and 20 for victory, and so on.

Prizes are awarded in Twister tickets.

$25K GTD Monthly Lottery

Another RedStar promotion we’ve already talked about a bit is the RedStar Lottery. Since this is a monthly promotions, players have the chance to win big month after month.

To participate, you must complete any of the tasks.

• Make a deposit from $10 / €10 / ₽700 / ¥60 / ₴250.
• Play 250 poker hands in a cash game (tournaments do not count).

The Dream Lights Quests promotion consists of 29 tasks. They are divided into three categories: for cash players, for tournament players and for casino players.

The more difficult the task, the higher the reward for completing it. The tasks themselves are published every day in the JackPoker client.

It is noteworthy that rewards are provided for both completing individual missions and for completing several at once, so the frequency of completion will also be separately rewarded.

Winamax is not an operator we discuss all that often, and yet it’s got some amazing promotions this September. For starters, the €24M GTD Winamax Series is in full swing and will be running until September 12^th.

Last, but not least, we have Unibet Poker. While we don’t discuss this operator often, their September lineup was just too good to pass up. This September, Unibet is hosting daily HexaPro High Roller Races until October 6^th.
