Last month the WPT Global Poker client launched on the international markets. Starting this May the licensed WPT partner will offer the first satellites to World Poker Tour events.

Players can win a full $5,000 package to the WPT Prime Cold Coast for buy-ins as low as $22. Qualifiers run every Thursday and Sunday until May 15th.

About WPT Global

WPT Global is a newly launched poker room that operates in over 100 countries. The poker site went live in April 2022 and is available in most European countries, the Americas (except the US), and Asia.

WPT Global is a licensed partner of the World Poker Tour which has been around for nearly 20 years and it is one of the biggest and most valuable poker brands. The new online poker site offers cash games, tournaments, and various game formats such as No-Limit Hold’em, Short Deck, and Pot-Limit Omaha.

About WPT Prime Gold Coast

The World Poker Tour announced the new WPT Prime format earlier this year. WPT Prime will be a new live tournament format with tournaments alongside the WPT Main Tour stops with affordable buy-ins. These are designed to be accessible to more players around the world and establish the WPT in more markets.

As with the Main Tour tournaments, WPT Prime will feature shot clock play, WPT titles to be won, and tournament coverage from the WPT Digital Content Team. The WPT Prime Main Events will also count towards the WPT Player of the Year leaderboard, which awards $30,000 worth of prizes at the end of the year.

The WPT Prime Gold Coast will take place in Sydney with an AU$1,500 Main Event and a total of 11 events with buy-ins ranging from AU$330 up to AU$5,000.
