You blink and it’s over or at least that’s how we feel about 2024 WCOOP Boot Camp (August 4th – August 19th).

As you might have learned from our previous WCOOP Boot Camp article, this PokerStars mini series was designed to prepare players across skill levels for the legendary 2024 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP). And now, the preparations are almost over, with just two days of play and one Main Event to go.

In this article, we’re going to recap some highlights of the past two weeks and look ahead at what’s left on the schedule.

WCOOP Boot Camp Highlights

One of the biggest events of the 2024 WCOOP Boot Camp kicked off on the very first day of the series. We’re, of course, talking about the Sunday Million, coming in with a $109 buy-in and a $1 million GTD.

Maybe not a highlight necessarily, but something we loved seeing was the educational aspect of 2024 the Boot Camp. Thanks to experts from BBZ Poker, the WSCOOP Boot Camp was able to host training sessions from August 3rd to August 9th via Zoom recordings, accessible through the BBZ Discord Channel. The best part?

The sessions were completely free to attend for all players, a rare opportunity to learn from the poker elite, including BBZ Poker founder Jordan “bigbluffzinc” Drummond. For a just a glimpse at the poker education players got, take a look at what Ben Spragg ‘Spraggy’ had to tell players.
