PokerGO Tour Announced Super High Roller Bowl Series in Cyprus

From August 17th to August 25th, 2024 Merit Royal Diamond in Cyprus will hold one of the more expensive live poker series in the industry — Super High Roller Bowl Series. What’s waiting for players and which poker stars have already confirmed their participation — find out in our article.
Details of Super High Roller Bowl Series 2024
For the first time this August, the PokerGo Tour will offer 10 events of the Super High Roller Bowl.
All of the events will take place in a the Onyx Club built specifically for exclusive high-stakes games. Every SHRB Series event is a freezeout that counts towards the annual PGT season leaderboard where the TOP-40 players win a place in the private PGT Championship $1,000,000 Freeroll.
PokerGO will traditionally do subscription-only livestreams on its official website and will be sharing parts of coverage on YouTube.

A Brief History of Super High Roller Bowl
The first time the poker community had the pleasure to play SHRB was in 2015.
It was a 3-day event with $500,000 buy-in that attracted 43 entrants and collected a $21,500,000 prize pool. Prizes above $860,000 were paid out to only seven players. The first ever winner of SHRB was the U.S. professional poker player Brian Rast who took a $7,525,000 prize.
From that time SHRB was held annually, even during the COVID pandemic, as one very expensive event for the most skillful and wealthy players in the community.
As of August 2024, Justin Bonomo has been the only player who won SHRB three times — two live successively in 2018 and third online in 2020. You can check the full SHRB timeline in the table below.
