We’re finally into May, which means we’re closer and closer to more PokerListings live poker tournament action! Our usual day-to-day business, of course, revolves around helping our community navigate their way around the world of real money online poker by providing news and information and putting together the latest online poker bonuses and offers in our dedicated info section.

However, we’re proud to say that our venture throwing the PokerListings name into the live poker ring has proved very successful, and it’s also great fun to be associated with prestigious names in the poker world.

The latest instalment is the final leg – on 7 May – of the PokerListings Ranking Series in the luxurious surroundings of top quality hosts Portomaso Casino Malta. As the series reaches its climax there’s still plenty to play for, thanks to the fact that the overall series winner will earn a €550 seat to the megabucks The Festival Malta Main Event and the runner-up a spot in the PokerListings Deepstack Championship, both tournaments being part of the packed schedule at the Portomaso (14-21 May).

There’s also a guaranteed €5,000 prize pool to play for in this fun-filled, €130+20 buy-in event. Indeed, don’t be surprised to see the guarantee smashed once again, given the popularity of the series since the opener late last year, when 28 nationalities took part…

We’re proud that our PokerListings Championship is now an established fixture at The Festival, and excited that this latest edition, a €250 buy-in event, will this year take pride of place as the series opener! It’s also interesting to see that the title of PokerListings Champion is a sought-after accolade, given the numbers involved in the battle for the title.

Expect this tournament to draw in the punters, with the 383 entries seen at the Nottingham fixture earlier this year – won by Colin Lovelock – setting an impressive target.
