Global Poker is once again rolling out the Maverick O Series, a week-long showcase of Omaha play running from October 6th to October 13th. With GC 157,000,000 and SC 250,000 in guaranteed prizes, this series offers a range of events designed for fans of Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo (PLO8) and Fixed-Limit Omaha.

Across seven days, players can compete for 56 trophies, putting their skills to the test in what has become a mainstay Omaha series. Beyond cash prizes, winners will also walk away with exclusive Maverick O merchandise and in-game avatars that mark them as true contenders.

Key Events and Highlights

The series opens with a poker freeroll on Sunday, October 6th at 18:00 ET, giving participants a no-cost entry into the Maverick O experience. Following that, there will be 28 Gold Coin (GC) events and 28 Sweeps Coin (SC) events on the schedule, with each tournament presenting opportunities for significant rewards.

The Main Events, taking place on Sunday, October 13th at 18:30 ET, are the centerpiece of the series. The Gold Coin Maverick O 7-B Main Event features a GC 20,000,000 prize guarantee, while the Sweeps Coin Maverick O 7-B Main Event boasts a SC 50,000 guarantee. Both Main Events use the 6-Max PLO format, ensuring competitive action throughout.

Prizes and Merchandise

So, what’s in it for the players?

Maverick O Series winners will be rewarded with more than just cash. Gold Coin event champions will also receive exclusive Maverick O apparel, including hoodies, t-shirts, caps, keyrings, and stickers, while Sweeps Coin winners will take home the Maverick O trophy — a collectible that serves as a badge of honor for Omaha enthusiasts.

In addition to physical rewards, winners of both GC and SC events will earn new Maverick O avatars to use in-game. These avatars symbolize achievement within the series, and for those who don’t make the winner’s circle, they can still be acquired through the Gold Coin store during the series.

For players looking to participate, Global Poker offers several ways to get involved. Daily satellite events provide an accessible route into the bigger Maverick O tournaments, giving players the opportunity to secure their seats at a lower cost.

The Opening Freerolls on October 6th also offer a valuable entry point into the series. Beginning at 18:00 ET, these events are open to all and provide a pathway to join the Maverick O Series III before the main schedule kicks in.
