I find this Most interesting….First off, I’ve never played poker, less some fake chip games on Full tilt, to see if I could guess, with any success, my opponents hands….I enjoyed it immensely.
I enjoyed. Helmuth, Matasow, Negraneu,ferguson,lederer, greenstein, & many more, at the top of the game, 10+ years ago, now to present day….Though I do miss, Helmuth & Matasow, & think Mike would be wise, to be a bit more Stoic at the table…. i always warned my son,

Then later i come to find, online cheating, as well as, at the table cheating is alive & well….
I was curious where all this stood, today, 7/17/16. & Came across this article, & many more, regards to lederer & Ferguson. If you 2 really cheated the system, it’s sorely disappointing. Well being allowed into homes, with owners not present, I disarm the alarm, do my job, clean up, better than it was, set alarm & leave. Albeit at times mesmerized by a 17th century piece, who’s presence or location, isn’t even disclosed to my wife.
On the other hand, Fraud or is theft” a better word?,

My favorite show, Was poker after dark, with Helmuth, & Matasow….. Negraneus ability always wowed me. Ferguson I liked. Lederer I respected, sad to see where all this stands now.
I would say in the end, people are more important than money. Greenstein, I would love To lose too, had I had a bankroll, that could build ” Super adobe home development, for homeless women , Children, & men. Create a diner, that helps fund the development..,..
The team you all could create with your brilliant minds, would be something that could leave a legacy of not just poker”. But of people that had given back, as a team, more than they took.
That’s the real game.

Would it have not been a better happier life, to build Super adobe homes for women, rather than exploit them at the strip club?
Or to fund a development rather than amass a silver hoard & bury it in the ground?

As a team, the brilliant minds could go much further than alone. I may have read Lederer & Ferguson wrong,( but my gut still says), they did not set out, to defraud.
Some may laugh at that, but as I said, I’m simply going by my gut, via poker after dark.
If in fact they did defraud, I suspect the feds aren’t particularly fond of poker players, & would well do, a prison sentence.

Typically their kindness is extended to banks like bofa chase & wells, or company’s like GM.
It would be a great sight to see
Helmuth, Matasow, Negraneu, Greenstein…..& More, to stand together & create something more, than a online presence of articles, that speak of disdain & dishonesty. To get over the past & move forward. To be an example of what some of the greatest minds did for the State of Nevada, & it’s less fortunate & or lost citizens. To build something Lasting, that serves many, after all of us are long gone.
Most of us have 50 years or less, before were stuck in the ground, with a bronze placard, that will be seen most, by a Gardener’s eyes.
As a team, the likes of you all, could create something much better, than you could alone. Be well.

I would imagine DN would have gotten it if he was over 40. Certainly not duke and definately never lederer. The time that either One of these villains make it into the HOF then you can safely say that this select establishment will be forever ridiculed and not taken seriously anymore.

Duke/lederer.. Duke is no way near HOF material. As for lederer, well, HOF and lederer should never be even mentioned in the same sentence. HOS… Hall of Shame as Daniel puts it is spot on. They would qualify with unanimous support!

Daniel is spot on the lederer twins have a chequered past and yet one is being nominated with the legends of the game daniel is right to voice his opinion and I for one respect the man.

There is nothing about duke, lederer that I admire. I think many people have become tired with them. So many great poker players out there who are leagues ahead of these Two and are far greater embassadors for poker. Very few poker players would never have even heard of lederer if it was not for his involvement in FT. From what I can see most people do not regard him and his sister as icons in the poker world.
