‘Kid Poker’ is back at it again. After a rough summer, where he documented losses of more than $1.1 million, GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu has a chance to make it all back and then some as he leads the final 14 players heading into the penultimate day in the Super High Roller Bowl VII at the PokerGO Studio from the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Negreanu needs no introduction to those in the poker world and is a household name even with those not living and breathing poker on a daily basis. The Canadian has amassed nearly $47 million in live tournament earnings as tracked by The Hendon Mob while also laying claim to six World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelets. Negreanu, who is active on social media including many Tweet and Vlogs, is only behind the once controversial Justin Bonomo and the recently controversial Bryn Kenney in total career poker tournament earnings.
Day one of the Super High Roller Bowl was a success, bagged the chip lead with 1.5 million with 14 left

Negreanu’s Delivers Massive Cooler to Kenney
The Super High Roller Bowl VII is a three-day no-limit texas hold’em affair with a whopping $300,000 buy-in. A total of 24 players entered the action with a starting stack of 300,000.

Negreanu performed the best by nearly quintupling his starting stack to 1,499,000 but did have some help along the way in a hand against Kenney. Some of you might be asking why Kenney was allowed to play considering a handful of others accused of cheating were banned from some big events recently, but we will leave this for now for social media to chime in on whether he should or should not be banned.
Perhaps it was karma for those that feel Kenney should have been banned from playing as near the start of Day 1, he woke up with aces and flopped a set on an ace-four-five flop according to the PokerGO Tour blog. Kenney bet small and Negreanu came along for the ride with pocket treys. Negreanu then improved to an inferior set after a trey hit the turn and this time Kenney called a small bet by Negreanu. The case trey spiked the river to improve Negreanu to quad-treys. Negreanu three-bet jammed and Kenney was on the rail after he called while Negreanu continued to accumulate chips to end the day with the chip lead.
Meanwhile, Mikita Badziakouski also bagged a seven-figure stack on Day 1 with 1,105,000 in chips while Justin Bonomo (936,000) more than tripled his opening stack and Nick Petrangelo (746,000) more than doubled his starting stack. Orpen Kisacikoglu (590,000), Andrew Lichtenberger (436,000), Paul Jager (424,000), and Alex Foxen (323,000) will kick off Day 2 with more than a starting stack.
Eric Worre (259,000), Chris Brewer (224,000), Seth Davies (223,000), Ben Tollerene (165,000), Cary Katz (122,000), and Jason Koon (56,000) all have their work cut out for them as they enter the second day with less than a starting stack.
Nine other players in addition to Kenney entered the Super High Roller Bowl but have nothing to show for it by the end of the first day including Talal Shakerchi, Michael Addamo, Adrian Mateos, Stephen Chidwick, Bill Klein, Ike Haxton, David Peters, Dan Smith, and Sean Winter.
The action will resume on Thursday, October 6 at noon PT with the live stream kicking off at PokerGO an hour later with hole cards exposed. Blinds will begin at 3,000/6,000 along with a big blind of 6,000 and increase every 75 minutes.
