The final day of the MPP Main Event 2024 was one for the books. The event gathered 1,260 players, and combined, they were good for a total prize pool of $6,048,000. A notable name on this final day was Dutch streaming sensation Tom Talboom, who couldn’t finish the job and ended in 12^th place.

By far the biggest name at the final table was Leon Sturm from Germany. He not only excelled only by his name but absolutely dominated the gameplay until then. He eventually parked his car in 4^th place ($440,000), which brought him over $7M in total career earnings.

The most intriguing story of them all has to be the one of the eventual winner, Amazat Lankov. Until his win during this MPP Main Event 2024, he had only gathered $22,000 in total cashes. The online qualifier from GGPoker already would have doubled his career winnings at the start of the final day, but he decided it was time to add a massive win to his name (1^st – $1,000,000).
