Millions Superstorm at 888poker with huge guarantees and $1M giveaways

This March 888poker runs its first huge promotion for 2020 and the operator offers a huge $1 Million tournament while giving away another $1 Million over the course of February and March.

Let’s take a closer look at the Millions Superstorm Promo:

1.      $1M Millions Superstorm Main Event

888poker is going to run an incredibly huge tournament this March. The Superstorm Main Event will guarantee $1,000,000 and will have a buy-in of only $100. Meaning, the tourney will need at least 10,000 entries to reach the guarantee.

To ensure as many players as possible have a chance to play in this tournament, 888poker offers no less than 24 day 1 starting flights. From March 1st until March 21st each day at 8.30 pm (CET) a day 1 flight is running. On Sundays another flight will run at 11.30 pm.

Those day 1 flights run for 11 levels (roughly 4 hours) or until only 15% of the players are left. All remaining players are automatically in the money and will have made it to the 2nd and final day. Each player can register for as many day 1 flights as he likes until he has qualified for day 2.

Day 2 runs on March 22nd, 8.30 pm (CET) and lasts until a winner has been found.

2.      $1m Giveaway

To ensure as many players as possible have a chance to play the Millions Superstorm and to give players with a smaller bankroll a chance to qualify for the event, 888poker came up with a huge giveaway program running until March 21st.

The easiest way to participate in this program is to just open up your 888 client once per day. Every day each player is eligible for one spin on the daily spinner.

This spinner awards:

  • Superstorm Freeroll Satellite tickets
  • Direct entries to day 1 of the Superstorm
  • BLAST tickets
  • Tournament tickets
  • Free bets or free spins on casino games

Daily Challenges

Apart from the daily spin players can complete daily challenges to earn to 2 freeroll tickets per day.

Those are the challenges:

  • Play Tournaments: Play any poker tournaments with buy-ins totaling at least $3.
  • Bet on Sports or Casino: Place bets totaling at least $5 on casino games or sport events.
  • Win with Aces: Win a cash game hand (stakes 2c / 5c or above) with pocket aces.

For each challenge a player completes each day he receives 2 freeroll tickets which he can use on either of those tournaments:

  • Superstorm Main Event Freeroll: 50 seats gtd., daily at 5:25 pm CET.
  • $3,000 Freeroll: daily 7:25 pm CET.

3.      $1M BLAST Tournaments

Until the end of March 888poker offers a special version of their jackpot tournaments. The $5 version of the BLAST tournaments has the potential to play out $1,000,000 ($700k for 1st place, $200k for 2nd place, and $100k for 3rd place).

Albeit, the chances for this to happen are very slim. Only 1 out of 10 million BLAST tournaments will have a $1,000,000 prize pool.

Please note that the rake in those events is 8.6% and thus significantly higher than in regular BLAST tourneys.
