Michael Mizrachi Back for More at 888poker Rozvadov Festival

Poker icon Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi was a guest and 888poker ambassador at its first big, 11-day festival in London last October.

There, at the newly minted 888poker room at the Aspers Casino, Mizrachi reached the last three tables of the main event and shared the spotlight with fellow American players Antonio Esfandiari and Melanie Weisner.

The former November Niner clearly enjoyed his experience as he’s headed back to Europe again for the next 888poker Make it Big Festival at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

A Great Poker Career Stays Great

Most casual poker fans will know Mizrachi from his appearance at the final table of the WSOP Main Event  – and particularly for the most spectacular hand we’ve seen since the invention of the November Nine.

$15m in career earnings.

That was only the cherry on top on his 2010 WSOP though as he had already won the $50k Players Championship and made the final tables of both the $10k Limit Hold’em and the $10k Seven Card Stud Championship.

While 2010 was Mizrachi’s best poker year to date he has no shortage of massive results throughout his career as he finished 5th and 1st in back-to-back WPT events in 2005, for example, and 2nd and 1st just one year later.

His skills haven’t dropped off either as Mizrachi cashed 12 times at the WSOP last summer. That includes a cash in the prestigious $50k Players Championship, which he’s already impressively won twice.

All told he has over $15 million in live tournament winnings, giving him the #16 spot on the global all-time money list.

Michael also has three poker playing brothers – his twin Eric, older brother Robert and baby brother Daniel. They all play the most popular card game in the world; even their mother is nicknamed “Momma Grinder.”

“All my family supports me whatever I do,” says the Grinder. “If I’m happy, they’re happy. I have full support from everyone.”
