March Madness is almost a religion for many poker players as this is when 68 collegian basketball teams battle it out in a single-elimination bracket until a winner is crowned. This year’s March Madness kicks off on March 17 with more than two weeks of exciting basketball action until the 2021-2022 NCAA college basketball championship team earns their title in the finals on April 4.

TigerGaming can help you celebrate March Madness in style as soon they will be hosting March Madness Poker Week from March 20-27.

The March Madness Poker Week boasts an action-packed tournament schedule with 62 tournaments guaranteeing at least $175,000 in combined prize pools. This is not all is TigerGaming will be hosting an assortment of promotions including a $5,000 freeroll, special-edition sit-and-go’s, and deposit bonus offers.

Tournaments for All Tastes

There is something for everyone on the schedule with buy-ins ranging from just $2.20 all the way up to $160 with guarantees as high as $10,000.

Most of the schedule will be played in the popular NLHE format. Those of you that prefer four-card poker will be pleased to learn that there are plenty of PLO and PLO8 tournaments littered throughout the schedule.

This is not all as the festival features many unique tournament structures including Boost (Fast-Fold), turbo, hyper turbo, and short-handed events. TigerGaming will also use the festival to launch a new format in Boost Turbo PKO.

Four Leaderboards & $5,000 Freeroll 

TigerGaming is hosting four separate leaderboards as follows based on the type of tournament.

  • Boost
  • Turbos
  • Hyper
  • PLO/PLO8

Players that finish in the top 64 spots in any March Madness Poker Week event will earn points on the leaderboard corresponding to the event’s format.

The top 64 spots on each leaderboard will be invited to play in a $5,000 freeroll on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

March Madness Sit & Go’s

TigerGaming will also be hosting March Madness Sit & Go’s These tournaments are on-demand and begin after they fill up like other SNGs. However, the similarities between these SNGs and others end here with TigerGaming coming up with their own unique creation.

The SNGs feature a very low buy-in of just $0.25 making it accessible to anyone at TigerGaming. The action begins with 64 players and features four fast-paced rounds as follows:

  • Round 1 (Round of 32): 6-Max Boost PKO | 10min Time-Limited ↓
  • Round 2 (Sweet 16): 4-Max Button Blind PKO | 6min Time-Limited ↓
  • Round 3 (Elite 8): Heads Up | Instant All-In ↓
  • Final Round (Final 4): 4-Max Mayhem Speed | After 6min players are all-in

The last player standing will not only win a lion’s share of the prize pool but also be invited to compete in a freeroll rewarding $1,000.
