London Calling: The Hendon Mob Championship Makes Its Long-Awaited Return
For the first time in half a decade, The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) is coming back to London. From December 3rd to 8th, the festival will take over the poker rooms of Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford, marking a long-awaited homecoming for one of poker’s most recognized brands.
This edition of THMC is powered by the Unibet DeepStack Open (UDSO), with a schedule packed with 15 tournaments, satellites, and trophy events. At the center of it all is the £280 buy-in Main Event, offering a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool and six starting flights.

Details of the £280 Main Event
The Main Event is the festival’s biggest draw. For a £280 buy-in, players receive a 40,000 starting stack, with six Day 1 flights to choose from, including turbo and hyper-turbo formats for faster-paced play. Late registration remains open through Level 10 of each flight, and players can re-enter up to twice per flight.
The tournament’s £100,000 guarantee marks a significant increase from the last THMC London Main Event in 2019, which drew 357 entries and generated a £70,686 prize pool. This year’s larger buy-in and guarantee are expected to create a deeper field and even bigger prizes. In addition to the cash, the eventual winner will receive a package to the 2025 THMC Cape Two Million, taking their success to an international stage.
Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty and Side Events
The £180 Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty begins on December 4th and is one of the festival’s most anticipated events. Players will compete for £20,000 guaranteed, and those who make it to the bounty stage can win mystery prizes, including a $4,000 package to the Mediterranean Poker Party in Cyprus.
Other notable side events include the £150 Friday Night Deepstack with a £10,000 guarantee, a £200 Pot Limit Omaha 4/5 Card event, and the £100 NLHE The Closer, which wraps up the festival on December 8th.
Qualifying for the Main Event
Several satellite options make it easier for players to secure a seat in the Main Event:
- Freeroll Satellites: Two free-entry satellites take place on December 3rd and December 6th at 1:00 p.m. GMT, each awarding three Main Event seats. Rebuys are available for £10.
