Have your eyes on playing an event or two at this summer’s 2017 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas?
Lock in your seat asap as the WSOP announced today that live and online registration is now officially open and players can begin registering for all events.
Players who live or visit Las Vegas can register 24/7 for the next few months at the main cage at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
Online registration is open as of Mar. 31 via the WSOP registration software provider, Bravo Poker Live.
Credit Cards for Buy-ins Under $10,000
If you’ve been to or played at the WSOP before you know the day-of lines for certain events can be unwieldy and early registration is a simple and effective way to skip the waits.
Skip this.
If you’re outside of Vegas, like most, online registration is now open via the secure Bravo Poker Live app. If you registered online last year you will already have an account; if not you’ll need to create one.
You also need a Caesars Total Rewards Card®/Account. Once you’ve created your accounts you have three ways to buy-in:
Credit Card (for buy-ins $10,000 and under). Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & Diners Club all available. Registration must be 72 hours prior to event starting for first-time users. Once a credit card has been verified you can use it to register online until the end of the WSOP.
Wire Transfer (requires registration at least 14 days prior to event’s start date)
Cashier’s Check (requires registration at least 14 days prior to event’s start date)
Once you’ve completed the process and sent payment you then show up at the Rio Total Rewards Desk one hour prior to your event’s start and show your ID
If you paid by credit card you also have to show the credit card used for the online registration (which must be in the name of the registered player).
Once you’ve completed the “one-time” identity verification you can now use the WSOP FasTrac Kiosks to print your own seat cards and receipts for any more 2017 WSOP online registrations.
Get ready for action.
In Vegas?
If you’re in Vegas, simply go to the Rio Main Casino Cage any time after today until May 30 to buy into any event.
Cash, casino chips or cashier’s check are accepted. You’ll guarantee your entry and get your starting seat assignment and receipt.
From May 30-July 17 you’ll have to register at the WSOP Main Cage that will be set up in the Rio. All players need a valid photo ID and a Total Rewards Loyalty card.
Players from outside the US must have a second form of ID that includes a residential address. Find complete details for both the live and online registration process for the 2017 WSOP at WSOP Poker.
