Kings of Tallinn – Less than two weeks before kick-off

We are closing in on the biggest poker festival of the Baltics and let’s be honest, who isn’t enthusiastic about a festival completely designed based on the wishes of the players? If we might believe the news, this grand event will again break records this year as the reservations coming in by big numbers. Lately you have had the opportunity to read everything about the history of Kings of Tallinn, from information about the city, to exclusive comments of several previous winners of the Main Event. Two weeks will pass by before you know it, here you will get the most important information about the event.

Big names to be expected 

As per recent years, many big names came to the capitol city of Estonia especially for the Kings of Tallinn. World-class players such as Illari ‘Zigmund’ Sahamies, WSOP bracelet winner Vincas Tamasauskas, former Main Event Champion and WSOP bracelet winner Juha Helppi, just to name a few. Most of them find their way to Kings of Tallinn every year, as well as a big army of recreational players from all over Europe.  

Currently, for the 2023 edition, they already got quite some familiar names in the poker scene confirmed of giving acte-de-presence – We have listed them for you:  

Niall Farrell (Scotland)

When thinking of known British poker players, Niall Farrell cannot be missed out on when looking on the past decade. With several notable wins, easy recognizable face, and sense of humor he is one of Scottish hopes for the future. In 2020 he won the Summer Showndown in Tallinn and has a stunning $6,548,387 in total live earnings. His biggest live cash of $867,591 came from the $10K High Roller during the WSOP Europe Main Event in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

Eyal Bensimhon (Austria) 

Another well-known poker player who will attend the event, is Eyal Bensimhon. Residing in Vienna, he is mostly known by his pink rabbit hat, and mostly playing in the neighboring country Czech Republic. With over $1,000,000 in live earnings, he will be a real contestant for the victory at Kings of Tallinn.

Miss Universe Finland Sara Chafak

A newcomer to the scene, but certainly not to be missed, is Miss Universe Finland Sarah Chafak. With over 10 million views of the Shark Cage from Pokerstars, where she stunted with a extraordinary bluff against High-Roller Ronnie Bardah. See the link below for the full action of the hand:

Illari ‘Zigmund’ Sahamies 

Someone who should not need an introduction is High-Stakes regular Illari Sahamies. This European legend of the game has taken it down a notch in the past couple years and is fully enjoying events such as the Kings of Tallinn, due to its enjoyable environment. His live tournament earnings surpass the $2,000,000 mark and his biggest cash dates to almost 10 years ago during the €5,000 High-Roller of EPT Barcelona, becoming second for $773,682.
