Not every poker player has the bragging rights to say they’ve won three titles from one series or even one brand, especially within just one year. But poker coach Jonathan Little does, since on September 15th, 2024 he managed to do just that in the Poker Masters series.
You’ll find all the details of this impressive feat in this article.

The Three PGT Titles of Jonathan Little
Little claimed the first PGT victory of his career on January 30th, 2024 when he won Event #3: $10,100 NLH in the PokerGO Cu, with 85 entries. Little took home the $226,800 prize.

Just a few days later, on February 4th, 2024 Little won a PGT title again — now a second time in Event #8: $25,200 NLH, which had 55 entries. With this victory, he added a cool $453,750 to his piggy bank.
With four cashes at the series, including two victories, Jonathan Little was crowned the PokerGO Cup Champion, receiving a special trophy and a $25,000 PGT Passport as prizes.

At the end of the PokerGO Cup, Little published his analysis of one of the final tables and his impressions of the series altogether.
Half a year later and Little returned to the PokerGO studio but this time for the Poker Masters.
There he took his third PGT title but the first in this particular event. Jonathan conquered Event #4: $10,100 NLH and ended it with a trophy and a $226,800 prize.

Why Do Poker Players Love Jonathan Little?
After his third PGT title, a Reddit user named police36d started a conversation about Little’s recent success. This spurred in a few interesting responses that show why the poker community finds Little to be an admirable player:
crawsex: Finally, he had become Jonathan Regular-Sized.
ThatSoSwan: His videos were my gateway into taking Poker seriously. I’m glad to see him take down a title event, and prove that his knowledge and technique are more than just beginner level.
Inori92: What’s little got to prove, he’s got over 9m in live cashes lol
ThatSoSwan: I don’t disagree! But you look around here in this sub and he’s reviled as someone out of touch with the current state of the game.
The_Void_Reaver: People genuinely just don’t like him because he doesn’t look the part. He’s the poker world’s version of the dude who pulls up to play basketball in jeans and a hoodie and cooks you. Nothing gets your average player as riled up as getting embarrassed by someone they consider a dork.
mug3n: And he doesn’t insert himself into poker drama like a certain Poug Dolk or the Solve4Why dorks.
hatemakingnames1: There’s lots of players who won in the past who can’t win anymore. Someone who’s still winning has kept up with the game.
Schmocktails: He himself admits to not being on the same level as the famous tournament crushers.
NateJCAF: I’ve been on his PokerCoaching.com for a few years now and it has totally transformed my game, I actually make a profit now. And his approach is no nonsense, no ego, just good, sound, fundamental poker. Yeah, if there was one complaint I have about pokercoaching… use some of that money and hire a PLO coach, I would really love a cash/tournament masterclass course but built for PLO, with some of the stats breakdowns like in their advanced masterclass. I get like 99% of people play NLHE but throw other people who want to explore a different variant a bone here.
stratola: He’s such a good creator on YouTube. Practical advice every single time.
vollski: People give him crap but he keeps things simple and offers very effective advice for beginners / amateurs to level up. Good to see his recent wins.
