GGPoker’s Bounty Series Has Kicked Off With a Bang!

Few online poker tournaments series has had us so excited like the Bounty Hunter Series 2023 over at GGPoker. Announced a few weeks back, the series took the poker community with storm with its $50 000 000 guarantee and a Mystery Bounty $5 000 000 GTD Main Event.

The series, which will conclude with the Main Event final day November 6^th, kicked off the previous weekend, but the Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition “stealth started” Tuesday 10^th. Let’s dive in and see what tournaments have been played in the series so far, and who have started their bounty adventure in the best possible way.

Big Bounty Action the First Week

Even though the series officially run between October 15^th – November 6^th, ten stage 1 flights of the Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition were played last week. Players can play multiple day 1 flights in this Progressive Bounty tournament (which has a Buy-In of $50), and day 2 will be played October 29^th. Considering the day 1 flights are many, this will surely be an exciting tournament to follow the action on. So far, 5 674 unique players have advanced to day 2, so the felt will not disappoint.

October 15^th, the Speed Racer POWER HOUR tournaments where played. Six tournaments with different buy-ins ranging from $5 to $200 were played in a short-stacked format. These tournaments will also be a reoccurring feature in the schedule during the whole series.

One thing that’s certain is that the tournament schedule leaves little to ask for and a lot of online poker tournaments are played every day. One of the most exciting ones that were played the 15^th were the SUPER SIX HR $630. Of course there were many other tournaments that had more than 69 players in the field, but the SUPER SIX HR $630 was the “high stakes” tournament of the day. Brazilian Paulo Brombim took it home and earned himself roughly $11 700.

The Mystery Bounty Mini Main Event

However, what really deserves to be highlighted this far is the MYSTERY BOUNTY Mini Main. The day 1 flights are many and the survivors from these stages will advance to day 2, October 23^rd, where the players also will be introduced to the mystery bounties. With a $100 000 top mystery bounty, one can understand why many players find this tournament thrilling. The series has only just begun and a total 36 428 entries already been made in the combined day 1 flights!

The Mystery Bounty Main Event

As stated before, the previously mentioned tournaments are only a selection of what’s been played in the series so far. There are more bounty tournaments played each day than any poker player could dream of; be sure to check out the full schedule if you haven’t already.

The best part is that the Main Event can be glimpsed upon in the horizon. The first flight will be played October 19^th 13:30 and day 2 will finish the whole series with a flourish November 6^th. With it $5 000 000 GTD and a $500 000 Top Bounty, the Main Event will surely not disappoint.
