This weekend the Battle of Malta Online commenced on GGPoker. This tournament series guarantees a total of €25 million until the end of the month and offers four big tournaments with seven-figure guarantees.

The first edition of the Battle of Malta Poker Tournament ran in 2012 and was hosted live in Malta for many years by PokerListings. In 2019, the tournament attracted 4,657 players in Malta. The next edition will take place from October 4 to 12. For a buy-in of €555, the event will guarantee one million euros in prize money.

In the meantime, an online edition of the Battle of Malta will be held on GGPoker. The online giant is offering numerous events as part of the series, guaranteeing a total of $25 million in prize money over the next few weeks.

Highlights of the Battle of Malta on GGPoker

The first major highlight of the Battle of Malta Online will take place next Sunday when the final of the Global MILLION$ European Cup will be played. This tournament with multiple starting flights has a buy-in of only €50 and guarantees €1,000,000.

The following weekend, on July 24, the final of the Siege of Malta will take place. This is a bounty tournament for only €105 with a guarantee of €1,000,000.

On the last weekend of the Battle of Malta Online, GGPoker offers two huge tournaments. First, for the players with bulging bankrolls, there is the Royal Championship, which costs €1,050 and guarantees €1,000,000. The biggest event of the series, the final of the Battle of Malta Online Main Event starts on July 31. This tournament costs the same as the live edition at €555 and guarantees a whopping €2,500,000.

Battle of Malta Live Qualifier

GGPoker is offering its players the chance to win packages to the live event via the online Battle of Malta. As part of the Road to Malta, numerous satellites are offered to guarantee a total of 75 packages (main event buy-in plus hotel) to the Battle of Malta in October.
