Meanwhile, you’ll find that running alongside the Main Event are two additional key tournaments in the shape of a fantastic value $11 buy-in, $50,000 GTD Mini Main Event and – impressively highlighting the accessibility of the Grand Prix – a $2.20 buy-in, $10,000 GTD Micro Main Event!
These three tournaments are all terrific value, of course, but just to make life even easier for you would-be poker gods, you can also get your hands on a seat via $0.01 buy-in Centroll satellites – yes, it could ‘cost’ you just one solitary cent for the chance to win big.
Player-Friendly Structures
Another nice touch is that it doesn’t matter which buy-in tier you choose, as you’ll still get to enjoy the same amazing structure used in the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event! Whether you play in the $2.20 buy-in or the Main Event proper, you’ll sit down with 100,000 chips with an 8-minute clock and Blinds and Antes starting at 400/800/100a.
Each Day 1 session ends when 15% of the field remains, and those players progress to Day 2 (20:05 GMT on April 3).Note that the reward for making Day 2 is that you’re guaranteed to win at least a min-cash for your efforts.
Omaha Events
The Grand Prix Spring edition at partypoker features more than Texas Hold’em tournaments, with plenty for Omaha fans to enjoy, too, including Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo events. The PLO PKO Championship events take place from 27 March to 3 April, with buy-ins of $33, $5.50 and $1.10 and $20,000, $5,000 and $1,000 guarantees. The PLO8 PKO Championships run from 20-27 March with buy-ins of $44, $5.50 and $1.10, and boast guarantees of $20,000, $5,000 and $1,000 respectively.
