Poker has for a long time been incredibly popular in Ireland, which has a rich history over the years of hosting big events. Thanks to the excellent, player-friendly WPT Global online poker room, you can win your way to events in the Action Poker Tour (APT) in the welcoming Emerald Isle.  

Sponsors of the APT, WPT Global are doing their utmost to provide real money online poker players with the opportunity to play live poker tournaments in events that will be held in Irish capital as well as Limerick and Dundalk – and the qualifying set-up couldn’t be better!

Feeder satellites – which cost as little as $4.40! – are already underway, and are held every day at 6pm UTC. These tournaments feed directly into a $22 Day 1 Qualifier (8pm UTC) which you can buy into directly if you wish. You certainly don’t need to be an online poker tournament veteran to be in with a chance of progressing, as finishing in the top 15 per cent of any Day 1 tournament during the week earns you a place in Sunday’s Day 2 Qualifier where two $325 (€300) APT seats are guaranteed. Note that it’s not possible to buy in directly to the Sunday Day 2 (19th March).

If you’re successful in a Satellite you must play in the next available Action Poker Tour (APT) Event, so tickets won in the March 17th/19th Satellites must be used to take part in the APT opener at City North Hotel, Dublin (24-25 March).
