EPT Online on PokerStars in December with $17m Guarantee

EPT Online 2021

After one year hiatus the EPT Prague was supposed to be running these days in the Czech capital. But a too delicate pandemic situation once again thwarted the European Poker Tour. The EPT Prague had to be cancelled.

But that doesn’t mean we have to do without an EPT this December. Without further ado, PokerStars has announced an Online EPT which will start on December 8th and which guarantees a total of 17 million dollars over 68 tournaments.

PokerStars is offering several particularly rewarding tournaments with high guarantees.

These are the highlights of the EPT Online 2021

  • $11 EPT Online Cup with $150.00 guarantee
  • $55 Mini Main Event with $1,000,000 guarantee
  • $5,200 Main Event with $1,500,000 guarantee
  • $10,300 Highroller with $1,000,000 Guarantee

The EPT Online will offer two buy-in ranges which will run parallel. The regular class has buy-ins ranging from $215 to $10,300. In addition, there is the Mini EPT Online where the buy-ins are about a factor of 20 lower and range from $11 to $215.

Return of EPT Prague in March

As for EPT Prague, PokerStars has already found a new date. The live tournament will now take place from March 5th until 16th at the Hilton Hotel in Prague.

I am pleased that we have been able to adapt so quickly to the ever-changing situation and provide our players with new dates for EPT Prague already, as well as some EPT online fun and value in the meantime. A big thanks to our partners at Kings Casino and Hilton Prague for working with us to ensure we found an alternative solution for the event.

We know that there is a huge demand from the PokerStars community to see our live events return in full and we are excitedly working towards that, but we must be flexible along the way to ensure our players stay safe and healthy, and the experience is an unforgettable one for all the right reasons. We understand the impact not running these events has on our players and staff, and we hope that the upcoming EPT Online series will provideplayers with an enjoyable alternative this December. We have also committed to allocating $100,000 from EPT Online to all the Live Event Staff who have been impacted by the postponement.
