Enigmasility Locks Up $262k in 888poker Super XL Series Main

Chris Moorman won Event #38. Adrian Mateos final tabled and Dominik Nitsche and Bruno Politano made the money of the Main Event.

Natalie Hof outshone all of the other 888 ambassadors. And the 18 participants of the Champion of Champions tournament are now set.

The 888poker Super XL series was a whirlwind of action and entertainment that culminated on Sunday with 12.5 hours of hotly contested poker and Belorussian player Enigmasility walking away with $262,000.

No Deal!

With 1,096 players and 344 re-entries the $1.5 million Super XL main event just missed the guarantee to give the players a little extra value.

Mateos Win

Mateos crushes again.

The player to collect all the chips was Enigmasility from Belarus. In just the third hand of the heads-up his Q-T was victorious to GoMore21’s T-7 on a ten-high board.

The Belorussian took down the main prize of $262,000 as there were no deals made at the final table.

With Adrian “ADRI_ATM” Mateos this final table also had a WSOP and EPT winner but Spain’s best player entered the final table short-stacked and busted first.

Of the 888poker ambassadors it was Germany’s Natalie Hof who finished strongest. She eventually had to bow out in 51st place.

At that time Dominik Nitsche, Bruno Politano and Nicolau Villa-Lobos were all long gone although they, too, had made the money.

Of the players who top the series leaderboard it was Uruguay’s Fabrizio DrMiKee Gonzalez who managed to go on yet another incredibly deep run, finishing in 17th place.

Moorman Takes First XL Title

British online superstar and poker author Chris Moorman didn’t make the money of the main event but had already left his mark when he won Event #38.

Moorman was very relieved after his first XL title — and probably exhausted — as the heads-up had reached epic proportions.

Champion of Champions Named Tonight

The 18 best players of the Super XL Series are now preparing for their final battle. In a two-table Sit-&-Go these 18 will play for a WSOP main even package worth $12,500.

But this is not a winner-take-all event. Instead each of the 18 players will win an added prize. The 2nd- and 3rd-place finishers win tickets to $3k WSOP events. Fourth and fifth place win $600 tournament tickets.

All the remaining players win an extra $160 ticket to play a tournament on 888poker.

The unlucky bubble boy of this event was Tudlenudle, who missed a spot in the top 18 by just 0.74 points. The CoC tournament will take place today at 7 PM CET.
