We might well dedicate ourselves to the daily service of searching out for our real money online poker community the best online poker bonuses and offers available, but we’re getting used to the idea of organising our own events!

26 February sees the latest edition of our very own Ranking Series, an exclusive collection of six tournaments held in the inviting surroundings of the Portomaso Casino, Malta, one of Europe’s leading poker venues. Continuing every month until April, the series is still only halfway through, and it’s well worth getting involved.  

Indeed, whether your poker experience is limited to online poker tournaments or you’re a tournament newcomer, or you’re used to a diet of Texas Hold’em (or Omaha) cash or Sit & Go games, the PokerListings Ranking Series is a great way to start your ‘live’ poker career!

Poker at Portomaso Casino.

First, Malta is the perfect place in which to play poker. The Portomaso Casino is right by the sea (as are so many places on this charming little island paradise) and as user-friendly as it gets. The €150 buy-in tournament features a €5,000 guaranteed prize pool… this is already good news, but note that in the January leg of the series the guarantee was shattered, with the 94 entries generating a very tasty prize pool of nearly €12,000 that saw the eventual winner pick up €3,100!

And that’s not all! A special Leaderboard will award the overall series winner a €550 seat to the Main Event of The Festival in Malta (15-21 May, 2023), with the runner-up receiving a €250 seat for the PokerListings Deepstack Championships that will be held during the same event. You read correctly – that’s yet another PokerListings tournament!

All you need to do to get on the Leaderboard is play just one tournament during the series, points per event awarded according to finishing position as follows:

  • 1st 100p
  • 2nd 80p
  • 3rd 60p
  • 4th 50p
  • 5th 40p
  • 6th 30p
  • 7th 20p
  • 8th 10p
