The object of Cash Games is, of course, to leave the table with more money than we originally sat down with. That in itself is a success, and it’s how, maybe slowly but surely, we build our bankroll and progress on our quest to poker greatness. But it would be even better if we could supplement our profits further by availing ourselves of any extras that might be on offer.

One such route to trousering more cash is via a Pokerstars promotion that is underway and which continues right until 20 November, namely the Daily Cash Games Leader Boards promo.

$16,000 up for grabs every day

That’s right – over the next couple of months there’ll be $16K paid out every day. Applicable Leader Board stake categories start as low as $0.01/$0.02 and increase to $0.50/$1, for which the top daily prize is a juicy $600. And it’s easy to throw your hat in the ring – during the promotion, simply opt in once for whichever stake you intend to play, and you’re good to go. In fact, you have three bites of the cherry – the accumulated score (see below) of the first 200 hands you play count towards that day’s Daily Leader Board, but you are allowed to have up to three attempts each day. Those players with the most points at the end of the day will earn a share of at least $16,000, and it’s possible to opt in to all nine Leader Boards!

How to rack up Daily Cash Game Leader Board points

The number of Leader Board points you earn is determined by both the value of your hole cards and multipliers and fixed points that are awarded for specific combinations.

Picture cards are valued at: J = 11, Q = 12, K = 13 and A = 14 points.

Points are awarded for specific combinations as per the following table:

So, opt in to any (or all…) of the matching stake levels, hit the No Limit Hold’em Cash or Zoom tables and battle your way up the Leader Boards. If you manage to get into the prizes (which go down to 400 players in the $0.05/$0.10 category, for example), you’ll be credited your booty within 48 hours of that Leader Board closing.
