The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a tuned up Honda Dio, a stack of Cambodian Riel and all the guts required to ring the afternoon poker news backroom bell.
Have something you’d like to see in a future 3-Bet? Tell us about it in the comments.
Today in the 3-Bet we find Will Kassouf off and racing, high-stakes underground poker in Cambodia and a revisit to the High Stakes Poker profit/loss list.
1) Kassouf At It Again
For those who still think British solicitor/poker pro Will Kassouf is just a fast-talking, one-trick, speech play pony? You might want to reconsider.

More game than you think.
Kassouf, as we all now, exploded into the spotlight last summer with his epic performances in the WSOP Main Event.
First there was ‘Nine High Like a Boss‘; then there was ‘Check Your Privilege.’ And more than his fair share of airtime across the entire ESPN WSOP broadcast.
His 17th-place, $338,288 cash was by far his career high but if you check his Hendon Mob since he’s shown he’s not fading back into the woodwork anytime soon.
First there was a 2nd for £30,000 in Nottingham last September. Then, of course, the famous EPT High Roller deal for €532,500 and the trophy.
He’s back in Nottingham this week for the £6m partypoker Millions and, chances are, we’ll be hearing much more from him (pun intended) there.
He’s off to a smashing start on Day 1e with over 2.3m in chips and, once they switch the live stream over to the Main Event tomorrow we imagine Kassouf will be front and center.
If he holds on to those chips, of course.
2) “Moving to Cambodia Was a No-Brainer”
Low rake. Super soft high-stakes games. Plenty of sunshine. Dirt cheap cost of living.

Sounds like the ideal place for a poker player, yeah? What if we told you it was Cambodia?
The developing nation tucked between Thailand and Vietnam has moved up to become a “lower-middle income economy” over the past decade or so and poker players have taken notice.
According to writer Sam Bradpiece in the Southeast Asia Globe, so much so that “Western players are flocking to Cambodia to exploit the country’s illegal poker scene.”
That scene is centered around the Riverking poker room in a ‘dilapidated’ Phnom Penh hotel where the stakes are high (pots have reached $60,000) and games are soft, although variants and betting procedures can be random.
Says 56-year-old Gareth ‘The Nugget’ Jones: “The poker is easier and better here [than in the UK]; there’s more action. [Moving to Cambodia] was a no-brainer.”
3) David Benyamine Won $900,000 on High Stakes Poker
Despite it going off the air six years age, not a day goes by where we don’t think about infamous poker show High Stakes Poker.
Man. There were some spectacular hands played on that show. And ones that have a lasting legacy to this day.
A tweet from Jake Cody today reminded us of it yet again and led us to revisit a few of the profit/loss totals for players on the show.
Is there a list of all time profit/loss from all seasons of High Stakes Poker anywhere??— Jake Cody (@JakeCody) April 19, 2017
