WPT Global: $8M New Spring Series Lunar Edition

WPT Global Lunar January 2025

From January 19 to February 10, WPT Global is hosting a series dedicated to the Chinese New Year. The schedule includes tournaments with buy-ins from $5.5 to $2,100: a total of 30 main tournaments and several hundred side events.

Tournaments with the largest guarantees:

  • $25 WPTG #9: Trophy Mini Bounty Championship $100K GTD — Day 2 takes place on January 26
  • $110 WPTG #27: Asia Championship Main Event $150K GTD — February 8
  • $215 WPTG Trophy #18: Lunar Mystery Bounty $400K GTD — Day 2 takes place on February 2
  • $530 WPTG Trophy #28: WPT500 $400K GTD — Day 2 takes place on February 9, flights start on February 2
  • $2,100 WPTG Trophy #26: High Roller Bounty Championship $200K GTD — February 8

You can participate in as many flights as you like, but only the biggest stack will move on to Day 2.

$3,5K per day in freerolls

WPT Global continues to run the “Daily Freerolls” promotion. It is available to all verified players.

There are 6 freerolls per day. They start at 5:02am UTC and are held every two hours. Registration opens an hour before the start.

The prize pool of five freerolls = $500, one at 1:02pm = $1,000.

Entry to tournaments by tickets. To receive them, you just need to log in to your account (6 tickets are issued per day). Tickets are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

GGPoker: $25M GGMillion$ Week, $5M GGMasters 5th Anniversary, and $12M GTD Regular Promotions

GGMillion January 2025 promotion

GGMillion$ Week schedule features 62 events with buy-ins ranging from $525 to $25,500. The main event will be a $10K GGMillion$ seven-flight format with a $10M guarantee. The winner will receive $1.5M.

$5M GGMasters 5th Anniversary

GGMasters 5th Anniversary will be held on February 23. The GGMasters series has been added to the tournament. During participation in the series tournaments, GGMasters tickets will drop, the prize fund of the promotion = $200K.

$12,000,000 in Regular Promotions

General rules for each leaderboard:

  • The scoring period is from 08:00 UTC to 07:59 UTC the next day.
  • Every day from 06:00 to 08:00 UTC “happy hour”: points are multiplied by x1.5.
  • Information about all leaderboards was collected in one table. For details of prize distribution, look at the client in the tab with the certain discipline.

*The multiplier is taken into account: x2 for straight and flush, x3 for set and x4 for straight flush. You can get a maximum of 25 points at the end of each Flip Stage.

The €25 The Big Game €100K GTD flights will run from February 2 to February 11, Day 2 will start on February 11 at 20:30 UTC. Flight duration is ≈ 3 hours. Stacks from all flights are summed up. A special mission and task have also been added. Read more about them in the previous article.

For completing tasks in MTT, you can get a bronze, silver, gold, diamond, royal, legendary bingo card, as well as just tournament tickets.

The Bingo card is a 5×5 field (25 cells in total) with random suits and card values. You play poker, collect the necessary hands, close a line, column or other specified picture and get a reward.

You can close a maximum of 2 cells in one hand. In PLO, the first two pocket cards count.

$25K GTD Monthly Lottery

To participate, you must complete any of the tasks.

  • Make a deposit from $10 / €10 / ₽700 / ¥60 / ₴250.
  • Play 250 poker hands in a cash game (tournaments do not count).

1 ticket = 1 spin of the wheel = 1 guaranteed prize: free spins, tournament tickets, poker bonuses or cash up to $250 directly to your account.

The regular €12,5K Twister Races and $25K Lottery are also ongoing

Important! To participate in the Twister Race, you need to register in the client every week by clicking “Opt-in”.

Points are awarded depending on the size of the buy-in for participation and for winning. For example: in a €10 tournament, 10 points are awarded for participation and 10 points for victory, in a €20 tournament, 20 points are awarded for participation and 20 for victory, etc. Prizes are awarded in Twister tickets.

PokerStars: $15M Bounty Builder Series

The series runs from February 2nd to 17th. The schedule features 169 events: mostly NLHE, but there are a couple of PLO, NLO8, PLO8, 6+, 5-card PLO, NL 5-card Draw, NL 2-7 Single Draw, 8-Game, Badugi tournaments. Read more about the Bounty Builder Series in our previous article. 

The tournaments with the largest guarantees are:

  • February 2 — $109 Sunday Million $1M GTD
  • February 9 — $215 Mystery Sunday Million $1M GTD
  • February 16 — $109 and $1,050 Main Events, both with $1M guarantees

CoinPoker: Regular Leaderboards for Cash Game and Tournament Players

RedStar February 2025 Promotion

Daily Leaderboards for Hold’em and Omaha Cash Games for $1K GTD each

Points in both are awarded for every 1 BB of rake — from 1 to 36 points depending on the limit. There are 15 players in the prizes at each limit. Prizes from $10 to $250.

Monthly MTT Leaderboard for $15K GTD 

Points are awarded for participation in tournaments taking into account their buy-ins, number of participants and their place. 150 players are rewarded. The minimum prize is a $5 ticket. The winner receives $1,000 cash + 3 tickets for $200 + $500 ticket.

Unibet: €4K Valentine Mission Special Freeroll, HexaPro Highroller Races

From February 3 to March 2, there’ll be daily leaderboards with €1,000 in prizes up for grabs, every day.

Points can only be earned between 14:00 UTC and 00:00 UTC. Earn points every time you participate in a HexaPro tournament: 

  • €25 HexaPro: 25 points
  • €50 HexaPro: 50 points
  • €100 HexaPro: 100 points

Extra Points for 2x: Every second time you enter a 2x multiplier, per stake, you get double the point for that specific tournament.

Prizes:

  • 4th-5th Place: €100 each
  • 6th-7th Place: €75 each
