Asian Poker Tour in Da Nang Draws 241 Players in Mystery Bounty Tournament

This year, in partnership with the Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP), Da Nang, Vietnam, hosts the eleventh and final live Asian Poker Tour. The 10-day, 36-event series is held at the five-star Risemount Premier Resort. For fourteen years that the Asian Poker Tour has been holding the events, it is the first time the country will host it.

The tournament will start on December 8 until the 18th, with up to $840,000 pot money to take home by lucky players. Various events like Mystery Bounty, High Roller, Monster Stack, and the Main Event are hard to miss.

Mystery Bounty players Day 1A leaders

Day 1 boasts up to $84,000 for grabs, and the 2nd is even fiercer with the chance to take home $88,365. Thirty-six players from Day 1 have made it to the 2nd day of the tournament. Leading the Texas Hold’em Mystery Bounty Day 1A is Van Tien Dinh of Vietnam, with 286,000 stacks after the fifteen 30-minute levels. Joris Michl of the Netherlands follows him with 209,500 stacks, and Nguyen Tuong Linh, also from Vietnam, with 196,000 stacks.

Mystery Bounty Day 1B notable players

Mystery Bounty Day 1B is just as exciting as Day 1A. Leading the roster is Abhishek Paul of India, with 228,000 stacks. Vietnam’s Vo Dinh Cuong follows him with 170,500 stacks and Joeng Injae of South Korea with 146,500 stacks.

Other players who have earned their spot for Day 2 are Benjamin Sai of Singapore (78,000 stacks), Peter Kiem of the USA (65,000 stacks), and Chun Lee of Hong Kong (16,000 stacks).
