In Las Vegas, the high roller tournaments of the PokerGO Tour are beginning to resemble the groundhog day. Last year’s series winner Ali Imsirovic struck again in the $25k event at the Venetian, prevailing over a field of 20 entrants. It was the Bosnian’s 15th Highroller title within the time frame of a single year.
Key Facts: $25k Venetian Highroller

- Venue: Venetian Casino Las Vegas
- Players: 13 players plus 7 re-entries
- Buy-in: $25,000
- Prize pool: $500,000
- Winner: Ali Imsirovic ($270,000)
The PokerGO Highroller Tour kicked off at the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas at the end of last week. There were two $10k, one $15k and the $25k Highroller tournament on the schedule.
The first two $10k tournaments saw a double winner in Punnat Punsri, who first collected $118k and then $133k in the second tournament. The $15k tournament went to highstakes vetran Alex Foxen, who won $153k.

The $25k Highroller, the highlight of the series, was rather sparsely attended with just 13 players. Thanks to 7 re-entries, the tournament still played out half a million dollars in prize money. In the end, Ali Imsirovic won the tournament ahead of Masasha Oya.
Last year, the 26-year-old Bosnian, who lives in the USA, won 10 Highroller tournaments of the PokerGO series alongside several other big events and was the clear winner in the Global Poker Index and PokerGO Leaderboard Player of the Year rankings.
