A GGPoker Digest: WSOP Online Begins as WSOP Circuit Heads for Argentina

There’s a lot of responsibility that comes with being the largest online poker room in the world; and yet, GGPoker doesn’t seem to be doing bad at all. On the contrary, the online poker giant has tournament surprises waiting at every corner.

So, that’s exactly what this article is going to be about – a little recap on what’s been going on with GGPoker lately, especially when it comes to the WSOP Online and the WSOP Circuit.

WSOP Online Takes Center Stage…

About a week ago, we talked about the 2024 WSOP Online (August 18th to September 30th, 2024) being bigger than ever with a total of 33 bracelets up for grabs and millions to be won in cash prizes.

Yesterday, the WSOP Online dream became a reality, as the 2024 edition launched its first events. Judging by the highlights alone, there’s much to look forward to in the up-and-coming weeks.

Along with the events above, all eyes will, of course, be on Event #28, the $5,000 buy-in WSOP Online Main Event, coming in with a staggering $25 million guarantee. Just to give you an idea of it’s popularity, the last day of Main Event action will be streamed live on GGPoker.TV starting at 18:45 UTC on September 24th.

Apart from the regular schedule, just like last year, the 2024 WSOP will be grouping participant into one of four continental regions for their Continental Flipouts.

While the WSOP Circuit Jets off to Argentina

While we were busy with WSOP Online, GGPoker had another trick up its sleeve, taking the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C)  to Latin America.

From October 17th to October 25th, WSOP-C will be calling the City Centre Casino in Rosario, Argentina home. This WSOP-C edition will have 12 WSOP Gold Ring events on the schedule. So, let’s break them down.

2024 WSOP Circuit Rosario Argentina

Starting strong from day one, the series will kick off with a Monster Stack Mystery Bounty tournament, setting the stage for a lineup of No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) events and Main Event qualifiers.

The $1,100 Main Event, the crown jewel of the series, will span from October 20th to October 25th October, with multiple entry days leading into the final showdown on October 24th and 25th.

To secure their spot at the WSOP-C Main Event, players should check out GGPoker, where satellites for the Main Event are running from as low as $1, bringing the WSOP-C Champion title closer to the masses.

When discussing WSOP-C Rosario, Juan Carreno, head of Spanish Latin America at GGPoker could do little to hold back his excitement:
