You might have noticed that we’re in the last month of 2022, with winter officially here. This is more relevant for some than others and, as far as real money online poker is concerned, winter is actually a time of year that sees us being gifted with even more great offerings than usual by poker operators. If you’re a poker fan, there’s more to December than Christmas…

Between 3-20 December, Americas Cardroom is hosting their Winter Online Super Series, and it’s a biggie. Perhaps the most striking feature is the enormous amount of prize money that will be paid out – a guaranteed $24,000,000 by the end of the series!

Whatever your favourite poker variant, there’s something for everyone across the 148(!) events, with Pot-limit Omaha, PLO8, 5-Card PLO, 5-Card PLO8, Limit Omaha H/L and Stud alongside the usual No-limit Hold’em game types. It’s great to see an online poker room try out something new, in this case holding 5-Card PLO and 5-Card PLO8 tournaments for the first time.  

Indeed, online poker tournament fans have never had it so good, with more formats and juicy prize pools than you can shake a proverbial stick at.
