Just after winning a small pot, Thomas Jakobsen ran into a cooler and will not be making a run at the title after finishing second place in this same event last year.
Paulius Jucys opened for 50,000 from the cutoff before Jakobsen three-bet to 140,000 from the big blind. Jucys four-bet to 280,000. Jakobsen four-bet shoved for 975,000 and Jucys, with just a little more in his stack, made the call.

It was a bit of a cooler for Jakobsen to run big slick into aces. No miracle came Jakobsen’s way and he was out in seventh place for €8,700 after the Q 3 7 4 Q ran out on the board.
The final six are each now guaranteed at least a payday worth €11,400. Meanwhile, Jucys took the chip lead for the first time today with Igor Pihela Sr. breathing down his neck.
