Penultimate PPC Czech Main Event Opening Flight Begins at 6 p.m.

Welcome back to the PokerListings coverage of the €500,000 guaranteed partypoker Championship (PPC) Czech €330 Main Event at the biggest poker room in Europe in King’s Resort.

Today features two more live opening flights with Day 1f already underway with an 11 a.m. start and attracted a banner field of 416 entries with 63 players scheduled to bag chips into tomorrow’s Day 2 with already at least a €600 min-cash secured.

Our coverage will focus on the penultimate live opening flight with Day 1g beginning at 6 p.m. As has been the case with the other opening flights, players will start with a 200 big blind stack of 100,000 chips with blinds increasing every 30 minutes. Players can re-enter up to two times on Day 1g during the 10-level, late-registration window.

All of the opening flights play down to 15% of the field. Based on previous live opening flights, it is likely that we will witness approximately 18 levels of play today. Day 2, however, will be rolled back to Level 16 with blinds at 8,000/16,000 with a big blind ante of 20,000.

Those that fail to find a bag, will have one more opportunity tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. with the turbo-charged Day 1h, which is expected to conclude just before the start of Day 2.

Thus far, the winner of the PPC Czech €150 Opener Farid Taazist is in the lead after bagging 2,290,000 during yesterday’s Day 1d.

In addition to the two opening flights of the Main Event, today also features the €150 Pot Limit Omaha tournament that kicked off at 3 p.m. Late registration is currently still open in that event, however, the €10,000 guarantee has already been smashed.
