Ottomar Ladva came into Day 2 with a short stack but managed to survive with that short stack through the first break. Unfortunately, for the Estonian chess grandmaster, he wasn’t able to last too much longer as he got his last nine big blinds in with deuces from under the gun and was looked up by the big blind with ace-eight. An ace spiked the river and Ladva was on the rail.
