The MPF Grand Event had its first elimination with Joanna Bart hit the rail at around the same time the following hand took place between Nicholas Osthus and Dennis Christiaens.

Osthus bet 4,000 into a pot of around 8000 with the 2 6 2 7 5 on the board. Christiaens paused for a few moments before he folded.

Osthus decided to show his hand and he won the pot with A 3 . We will likely never know whether this was good if Christiaens called.
