O’Dwyer’s seven found a friend on the A 3 9 flop and he check-called a bet of 4.5 million by Gieles. The A paired the board on the turn and O’Dwyer check-called a 13.5 million bet by Gieles.
O’Dwyer checked again on the 4 river. Gieles attempted to steal it away with a bet of 39 million. O’Dwyer called a minute later to regain the chip lead.
