Davoud Nikravan doubled his short stack as follows. He jammed for 28,500 with 10 5 and was called by Mark Vella with A K .

The 10 J 8 2 7 board improved Nikravan to a pair of tens to double through Vella. Shortly after, he was seen leaving the room so his luck from this hand turned out to be short-lived.

Nikravan has been playing aggressively both Day 1a and Day 1b but hasn’t been able to get much going as he has gone through five bullets during that time. Perhaps tomorrow will be different if he decides to hop back in for Day 1c.
