Mattila Can Go to the Bar

Jussi Mattila shared with us recently that he was ready to go to the bar when he had a short stack. He doubled that stack up but was still a bit short when he got his chips in with ten-deuce of spades on a ten-five-three-four board after the turn with two spades on the board.

Tanel Evert looked Mattila up with two red sevens. Both players completed a straight after a non-spade six completed the board. Evert’s straight was better and Mattila can now go to the bar.
