Three players checked with the J A 3 on the board and about 4,000 in the pot when Thuy Machatzek bet 3,500. Walter Brunfeldt called and the action was heads-up after the other players folded.

Both players checked both the 4 turn and the 3 river. Brunfeldt turned over K Q for the best possible hand without connecting with the board. Unfortunately for Brunfeldt, Machatzek did connect with the ace and won the hand after she turned over A 2 .
