Kyle Maguire was on the rail. PokerListings asked the 2022 Irish Poker Open runner-up how it all went down.

“I suck at poker,” Kyle said.

“We know that isn’t true,” said PokerListings. “How did it really go down.”

We had a laugh and Maguire shared with us what happened.

Maguire shared that he first lost about half of his stack when his ace-ten didn’t get there against ace-queen. Shortly after, he got it in with king-queen and was looked up by ace-queen to hit the rail.

While today wasn’t Maguire’s day after getting it in twice with about 25% equity in both spots, it would be hard for most people to believe there aren’t more big things ahead for the Scottish poker pro.
