Daragh Davey opened from the cutoff for 8,000 and was called by Ranno Sootla from the small blind. Sootla check-raised the ten-seven-four flop with two spades from 8,000 to 26,000. Davey jammed for 83,000 and Sootla called.

Sootla was ahead with queen-ten against jack-ten. To make matters worse for Davey, his opponent also held two spades in his hand leaving Davey down to two outs. A blank hit the turn with a red jack coming on the river to give Davey his miracle to stay alive and double his stack.
